In 2020, Documitra was established with a simple mission: to make consulate and immigration services more straightforward. Priyanka (Teena) Kandoi, Anvit Kandoi, and Nikita Goyal, personally affected by the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, teamed up to streamline the application process. Drawing from Priyanka's experience in consulate work, gained during her time with a Schengen Visa application center, they created Documitra to address the challenges faced by many. . They began by centralizing information and starting a dedicated Facebook group for Indian Visa and OCI service named ‘OCI, Indian Passport Renewal, POA, E Visa, Renunciation & VFS, BLS support’.
